Al Stoffel has written and directed several award-winning short films and two independent feature films. The most recent feature, Misdirection, is a unique psychological thriller and has worldwide distribution. Along with various freelance writing assignments, his screenplays have been in development with major producers at Paramount Studios, 20th Century Fox, Universal Studios and Yellowbill Productions in London.
Al has a long association with the local and national 48 Hour Film Projects, the American Film Market and the San Diego Filmmakers organization. He has been involved in local theatre and has served on the board of the San Diego Repertory Theatre, where his play, The Three Great Lies, debuted.
