A kidnapping for all the right reasons, gypsies, the FBI, and a desperate doctor in the crossfire.
When a one-night-stand dad refuses to donate stem cells to save his young son’s life, pediatrician Gordon Heath and the boy’s gypsy mom risk everything. They kidnap daddy and go on the run, dodging an FBI hound dog, who picks up the scent. They tangle with child protective services, a duplicitous TV reporter, the New Jersey underbelly and Gordon’s jealous wife, who’s torn between divorcing him and shooting him. Now media heroes, the doc and the gypsy are arrested, but manage to escape amid courtroom chaos. They abduct dad, sail off to a clinic in Belize for the procedure to cure the little boy and realize, to their shock, that they’ve fallen in love.
